After completing a master's degree in law and the Ecole du Louvre, with a bachelor's degree in art history and archaeology, he worked for Christies in London, and as well as for auctioneers in Paris (Tajan/Piasa), he then joined SERI EXPERT for Develop the expertise jewelry objects of art in 2006, and focused on flights and RC objects of art (graduate of ING and certified by insurance companies). In parallel he develops training in insurance schools on the art part, and becomes chairman of the Commission Art et Affinity de la FG2A.

After finishing the Westminster college in Oxford, and passed the school Certificate Boule, licensed in history of art and graduated auctioneer, Gilles finished a DEA in sociology of law, after a patent of gemmology. He piloted the flight certification with the insurers and the CEA, intervened with the courts as a forensic expert, and gave as a researcher courses at the EAC School. He is also a lecturer at the Department of Art History of the Université Toulouse Jean-Jaurèsl
